Fail Safe (2000)

This remake of the Henry Fonda classic aired live in 2000 on CBS, featuring an amazing star-studded cast of characters, including George Clooney, Harvey Keitel, Sam Elliott, Richard Dreyfuss, and Brian Dennehy. It was amazing before and it's amazing now, like watching a stage play packed to the gills with great A-list actors.

News: It's a KODT/Video review special as I review the greatest sci-fi/fantasy/caveman/pre/posthistoric epic ever made...aside from Space Mutiny: Yor: The Hunter From the Future!

The Lord of the Rings BBC Radio Drama

It amuses me that this relatively complete adaptation of the books still excises all mention of Tom Bambodil which will no doubt cause the aforementioned purists to scream in impotent rage. But hey, everything else they get right. No elves at Helm's Deep. Faramir isn't a douchebag. And Arwen stays in the kitchens of Rivendell where she friggin' belongs! I never did like Tom Bambodil, anyway.
