The final day of The Spoony One’s Chicago odyssey brings him to the fabled Urkel House. Later, he battles a Silver Slime that has invaded downtown and goes on the run from the Department of Homeland Security’s Parking Enforcement Division!

Wellllll, to be superfair to Paul, the original attack on the WTC in 1993 were fertilizer bombs in the parking area. I’m not saying he wasn’t over the top, but it’s not like it’s completely beyond the realm of human imagination.

Lindsay Ellis is a talented reviewer and clever personality. I always look forward to her reviews, and as such I found it a little disappointing that the Nostalgia Chick barely said anything at all in this video. Perhaps she may not have been as interested in Urkel as her companions, but I would still have liked to have heard her contribute more to the fun.

That’s funny, the security bit. Happened to me too when I was sightseeing and went into a Home Depot with my camera. Every freaked out like hell. Store manager thought I was price checking and “spying” them against their competition (A freaking Lowe’s next door). I was like “If I really wanted to spy wouldn’t I be a little less noticeable, like a notepad and pen?”. Anyway I think it’s funny you can go anywhere you want but if you have a camera “OH GOD THAT’S FORBIDDEN D:”

I can’t help but think that Spoony first started mentioning his camera going wonky a little after Chicago… and he was standing under a giant fountain, getting his camera all wet while he was there, even going so far as to say “this can’t be good for the camera”.

Here in Chicago, security guards tend to be full of shit when it comes to filming. The Illinois law stipulates that you can film at the public place, but it doesn’t stop them from trying to stop you from filming in the name of national security… except sometimes, they don’t care and you can film and photograph as much as you want (so long as you don’t get in too many people’s way and don’t use cumbersome filming equipment).
Ah, Chicago. Land of arbitrary and random abuses of power. Almost reminds me of Motherland (Russia, that is).

Great vid Spoony, looks like you kids had fun. FYI, NOBODY can take your camera or tapes/film/memory cards unless they are law enforcement and they have a warrant for your stuff. They can call the cops to have you removed if you’re on private property, though.
Man, thanks for uploading this. When I first saw this on the homepage of SE I was like “old’d” ’cause I had seen the version uploaded on Cinemassacre ages ago. But this was like an extended cut…. It’s so awesome just to see NC, AVGN and Spoony hanging out and having fun, awesome stuff!

the nerd was wrong the house was white in the intro and the house next to it use to be a lot smaller.
