I loved that park fight Bruce Lee episode. Mainly because some of the bullies were played by Power Ranger actors, including Jason David Frank.
I wonder, is anybody still living in that house. If so, they must’ve been creeped out at seeing a bunch of strange guys gathering and dancing like that in front of their house for no apparent reason.
Looked like alot of fun, but I imagine the people in the house are probably used to people showing up and taking pictures. I wonder if the real estate agent mentioned to the people renovating the house next door that they would be living next to a famous sit-com house, like, would they have gotten a frequent gawking nerd discount?
I remember an episode were Urkel (Urkle?) makes Urkel-bot, the nerd robot, and it joins the police-force or some shit. Dont remember all of it. I also remember some disney episodes, so its not all gold.
I noticed there were two Ellis’s in the credits as well (Lindsay, and some guy who is not as hot as her). Relation?
I’m surprised that house is still there–Chicago went through a run of “gentrification”, where a lot of older housing was pulled down and replaced with high-end condos and townhomes like the one next door. I may have even been by that place–looks like the Lincoln Park district.
I wish I’d know this had been going on–I live in the Chicago suburbs–but I imagine the last thing you folks wanted was a bunch of random hangers-on from the depths of the Internets. ;)
Cool beans. I always liked that show, that is, I liked it up until it turned into a stupid kiddie show with transmogrifiers, atom bombs, and time machines. I mean, seriously? But yeah, for your next trick, you guys should visit a haunted tower and do a spoof mockumentary of Irate Gamer’s stupid ghost hunter show. Now THAT would certainly be a thing.
I remember making the same pilgrimage to Astoria,Oregon to get a picture in front of the goonies house… so I too, understand the ecstatic nerdy-ness of it all. Even the “truffle- shuffle” found it’s way into the scene. The kid in the window thought it amusing…the dad did not.
I was killing myself laughing when the montage of Urkel damage was going on in the Winslow house. How many times did he break that window in the kitchen for fuck sake? And then to one up himself he goes flying through it from the outside in and body surfs on the kitchen table.
Hehe…this is pretty rad. Talk about a nostalgia kick in the testicles. I remember watching this show all the time. But still…I didnt watch it nearly enough to cite information like James did lol.
