The Spoony One goes corporate with this new Taco Bell-sponsored review of Demolition Man for the 3DO! It’s a real future shock as we cope with tight new language decency constraints, as well as mounting insanity. What’s my boggle?

@Marcus: “Look at how young he was back then. And with no beard-ish facial hair :)”
“Back then?!” This was made less than a year ago!
@ChaosD1 @Marcus:
Of course, unless you were talking about Sly Stallone… than… good god, you’re right. Demo Man was made in what, ‘93?
Nice Beetlejuice Impression. It just cracked me up a that part. GET TO THA CHOPPAH!!!!!!
i think the body count scene coulda used the scene in hot shots part deux… but still, good as always spoony
The thing that really baffled me about the movie was how was it possible in 40 years 99% of the population to absolutely forget what life was like in the 90s? Hell, the old guy in the police station that used to work with Spartan knew what it was like back then, yet the chief of police (who was probably as old as him) is shocked and amazed how life could have been so “barbaric”!
So yeah I think that part wasn’t really thought out so great.
some might ask “what makes him a good demoman?” well if he were a BAD demoman, he wouldn’t be SITTING there, DISCUSSING it with you, now WOULD HE?!?!
but i’m over here with my head full of eyeballs.
is that “in the future, all restaurants are taco bell” a midnight brown reference? if so, awesome! lol
lol smeg
Wait, you actually got permission from a real band to use their song as your theme song? Not like several other gaming reviewers who just use songs for the heck of it…
Heh, how very considerate of you. Then again, maybe you’re the reason why “Break Me” is the most popular Irresponsibles song on iTunes.
Also, loved this review. “Go for 20! Go for 20!”
were does that “time paradox” come from? its impossible to find that “you created a time paradox” voiceline (if you can say that) on youtube
@ M
It’s a special game over from Metal Gear Solid 3, that takes place anytime you do something that would change any events that would happen later in the Metal Gear Timeline (I.E. any of the other games.) For instance, killing Ocelot.
oh man, the one on one fights with Phoenix look right out of mortal kombat
from the review, it looks like the controls are just as bad
15:20… I almost died…
So apparently Spoony was blond as a kid. Who knew?
You know what old game you should review? One that semi plagued my childhood……..Die Hard Trillogy for the Playstation, oh my God some of the shooting stages were brutal…and the driving……….
I can’t find the lyrics to Break Me anywhere else so….here they are
I met you on a thursday
Friday, took you home
Well Saturday I’m beggin you, baby
Just leave me alone
You’re turning me upside down
Pull me to the ground
When you shake me, shake me
I’m givving you what you need
And I’m begging, please
Don’t break me, break me love
You took me to your bedroom
Threw me to the floor
You left me beaten and broken but still I
I still come back for more
You make me feel so dirty
And it feels alright
Well I know you just gona hurt me when I
You’re turning me upside down
Pull me to the ground
When you shake me, shake me
I’m givving you what you need
And I’m begging, please
Don’t break me, break me
You’re making it feel so good
Like a young girl should
When you take me, take me
I’m givving you what you need
And I’m begging please
Don’t break me, break me love
WOAH YEAH
You’re turning me upside down
Pull me to the ground
When you shake me, shake me
I’m givving you what you need
And I’m begging, please
Don’t break me, break me
You’re making it feel so good
Like a young girl should
When you take me, take me
I’m givving you what you need
And I’m begging please
Don’t break me, break me love
Love
Love
Love love
Woah
Negative Reinforcement is not the same thing as punishment. Negative reinforcement is the removal of an aversive stimulus. Punishment is imposing an aversive stimulus as a result of a behavior deemed morally wrong, I.E. the exact opposite.
@Gmasterfluffy: That is true, except your definition of “punishment” is actually positive punishment. There’s also negative punishment that’s basically the removal of a good stimulus for bad behavior (e.g. “grounding”). Of course, you have to make sure that the person actually *sees* the punishment as a bad thing for it to work; grounding your kids to their toy filled, computer and TV containing room usually doesn’t work so well–it’d be better to ground such kids *out* of their room!
LOL why does your house have a prison toilet?
