While searching the Internet for some FMV footage, I stumbled across this stinker for Super Wing Commander, a game I never knew existed for a console that had a higher price point in 1994 than the Playstation 3 had in 2006.
So you know this game had to be awesome, right?

When i heard that name for the first time, it tought it came on the super nintendo.

This is actually one of the best Wing Commander games ever made (3DO/Macintosh). It plays closest to the original and has extremely well made sound effects and beautifully redrawn art, especially the talking heads. It was touched by him, by Warren Spector himself, man! It would also not hurt to be aware of the traps of your typical internet reviewer’s idiocy; stick to facts and re-tag this entry, as SWC has as much in common with full-motion video as Final Fantasy VIII with Metal Slug at being a good video game. Cheerio.

I didn’t know they used atmospheric diving suits as the main outfit for starship pilots… but hey, if you go in like you shouldn’t have, it’ll save your ass from the shrapnel. And send you right in front of a friggin laser. Canned meat, anyone?
Also, kindly notice how the developers failed to solve a simple calculation… 2 ships, each firing 2 missiles, eh? I didn’t previously know that 2+2=5, but I’m clearly seeing 5 missiles going in that ship. Who the heck made this game, the guys from McDonalds who flip burgers for a living?
